Charbel is an absolute pleasure to work with.I hired Deryene Studios to capture my proposal to my girlfriend in Quebec City. I had a particular idea and project in mind and needed someone I could work closely with on a more personable level.For my proposal I set up challenges all over Quebec City and disguised the engagement with a “birthday surprise”.I got in touch with a lot of her friends and got them to create a challenge for each destination that was accompanied with a birthday message.I set out a route throughout Quebec City and at each destination there was a new challenge from one of her friends with a note. She had to tag her friends on the socials once each challenge was complete.. The day continued into the night and Charbel was able to capture the atmosphere and vibe of the day excellently. On top of that, we had to create an authentic plan or scripted idea as to why he was following us around the city.We “bumped” into him at the very first challenge. I asked him to take a picture of us, to which he asked where I was from (I have a accent). From there he told us he was a promotional videographer capturing Quebec City for the Tourism Board. I told him about the plan I had for “Jude’s birthday” and he pretended to be surprised and intrigued in our day. I then joked that he could film the day before he asked if he could use us for his project.Charbel’s acting skills are commended, because Jude was convinced that he was just a very nice guy 😂 which I can now add, he is!Charbel’s ability to tell stories through his art is what captivated me before deciding to hire him for my project. He exceeded expectations and created a visual memory that we can look back fondly on for a lifetime.Charbel made us both feel so comfortable throughout the day. We hardly noticed him and by the end of it we wanted him be a part of our day.Charbel’s desire to accommodate people and cooperate on an intimate level is testament to his personable character. The entire process felt so much more than “just” a project to him and I’m so grateful for that.I am confident and willing to stand by Charbel in my review. Excellent service!Thank you!Cheers a 🇿🇦

Charbel & Jamy are nothing short of amazing and went above and beyond our expectations for our weddings photos and videos.
